The hostel rooms are well-furnished and are equipped with basic amenities like TV, geyser, hot and cold water supply etc. The mess is run by the warden and his team (Mess Committee). They provide wholesome nutritious food at nominal rates to all the students who eat in the hostel mess. All the necessary commodities are provided by a common store, which also issues weekly rations to the students staying in hostel.
The academic environment in college is peaceful and friendly. The campus offers good laboratories for practical work along with classrooms for theory classes. There are separate libraries for postgraduates, undergraduates and research scholars.
The student rooms are very spacious and are well equipped with all the modern facilities. The hostel has got a multi-gym and a multi-sport complex to ensure that the kids enjoy their stay at their best. It also has a club hall, a 24×7 cafeteria and canteen as well as medical facilities.
The campus is under CCTV surveillance and hostel floor are under the supervision of wardens, to ensure the security and safety of students especially girls.

Shahbuddin medical college is the best college to study MBBS in Bangladesh. There are very few medical colleges in Bangladesh that are internationally accredited, but Shahbuddin medical college is one of them. The colleges’ infrastructure is very good, they have a well-established hospital attached to it where students get their practical training and students get their education from highly qualified teachers and professors.
