Established in 2005, Eastern Medical College (EMC) is a private medical institution in Bangladesh. The main campus is situated at Kabila, Burichang Upazila, Comilla District, Chittagong Division, next to the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway. It is connected to both Chittagong Medical University and the University of Chittagong. After a five-year programme of study, one can earn a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. The Directorate General of Health Services oversees admissions for Bangladeshis to the MBBS programme at all government and private medical institutions in Bangladesh (DGHS).
