Introduction of the college
Since its establishment in Ufa, Russia, in 1932, Bashkir State Medical University has called this city home. When it was started, the college had a General Medicine faculty; subsequently, schools for pediatrics, preventive medicine, microbiology, dentistry, and pharmacy were established. In 2010, the Ufa Medical University and the Bashkir State Medical University merged to form the Bashkir State Medical University. The Bashkir State Medical University trained around 700 volunteers in 2014 in preparation for the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. Over 8000 students are currently enrolled at the university, including about 850 from nations other than Russia.

The Bashkir State Medical Clinic serves as the Bashkir State Medical University’s educational, medical, scientific, and administrative hub today. It has 650 beds in the Clinic. Around 3,000 infants are born here, more than 8,000 operations are carried out here, and more than 20,000 patients from other Russian cities travel here for treatment.
Bashkir State Medical University’s Student Life
The Bashkir State Medical University owns five dormitories that can hold about 2000 students. The hostel rooms are flat-style accommodations with a kitchen, bathroom, and toilet. The university’s dorms are all properly air-conditioned and equipped. Two or three students must share one room as a general rule. On the dorm campus, students have access to the internet.
Additionally, there is Indian cuisine accessible on the dormitory grounds, and the TV provider offers worldwide channels in Tamil, Hindi, and other languages. CCTV and police protection monitors the hostel’s whole campus. The cleaners clean the hostel campus daily, and bed linens are replaced once every seven days. Every year, the Bashkir State Medical University hosts various cultural events in which students from around the globe participate. Additionally, the association of Indian associations observes Indian holidays like Baisakhi, Holi, and Diwali every year.
