Facilities
- As a student at Jahurul Islam Medical College, you are expected to abide by the following rules and regulations. These rules are in place for your safety, as well as the safety of others in the hostel.
The hostel gate will be closed at 9:00pm and opened at 6:00am. All students must return to their rooms by 9:00pm. Students are required to stay on campus during weekdays unless they receive written permission from the principal.
- Students may only leave the campus during weekends with prior permission from Principal.
The Dining Hall is a place for you to eat, socialize, and unwind with your friends. As students of Jahurul Islam Medical College, we must adhere to the following guidelines:
1) You must take food from the students’ common mess at the dining hall and maintain the following timetable:
Breakfast: 7am-9:30am
Lunch: 1pm-3pm
Dinner: 8pm-10pm
2) Food is not allowed to be taken to your room from the dining hall. Preparation of food in your rooms is prohibited. Every month, selected students will act as mess managers. Meal charge must be deposited (Approx taka 1200) by each student at the beginning of each month.
- The importance of cleanliness in the Jahurul Islam Medical College cannot be overstated. The campus is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places in the country, but, as beautiful as it is, it can be easily ruined if not cleaned regularly.

I. Eligibility for appearing in the professional examination:
- Certificate from the respective head of departments regarding students obtaining at least 75% attendance in all classes (theory, practical, tutorial, residential field practice, clinical placement etc.) during the phase.
- Obtaining at least 60% marks in examinations.
- No student shall be allowed to appear in the professional examinations unless the student passes in all the subjects of the previous professional examinations
J. Pass Marks:
Pass marks is 60%. Student shall have to pass written (MCQ + SAQ + formative), oral, practical and clinical examination separately.

Common Rules for Examinations
- University professional examination to be started from May and
- University professional examinations will be completed within the specified time of the concerned phase
- No carry on system before passing 1st professional examination

Criteria for Admission of Foreign Students in the MBBS and BDS Courses in the Private Medical
Colleges/’Dental Colleges/Dental Units/Institutes in Bangladesh for 2022–23 academic year under self–
finance scheme.
- Equivalence of Foreign Degree:
Must have passed qualifying examinations (HSC/A–level) or equivalent examination.
