Introduction of the college
Yerevan State Medical University is located in the center of Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia. It is considered one of the best medical institutions in Armenia, having graduated over 31,000 students. The State Medical University has around 8,000 students in six faculties. There are roughly 1184 international students. It is considered Armenia’s leading institution for MD studies (equivalent to MBBS in India). In Yerevan, more than one hundred chairs, prestigious clinical bases, and research institutes organize teaching and research activities.

Hostel & Accommodation
The Yerevan State Medical University dormitory is about 10 to 15 minutes from the main campus, where lessons are held. The hostel is accessible to anyone and welcomes students from all faculties. Yerevan State Medical University students have access to reading rooms, laundry facilities, community kitchens, television, beds, computer clusters, and the internet. Students may choose between communal rooms with three beds or luxury cubicles. The rooms for students are well-appointed and are designed to provide students with enduring ease and comfort.

It houses its students in two residences for international students, each with its eating area. An extracurricular department oversees all sports in school, including dance, theatre, drama, soccer, volleyball, basketball, powerlifting, chess, and many more. For transportation, students may use the regular bus service or the subway.
The 1:8 student-to-faculty ratio is methodically managed by five faculty departments comprised of exceptional Medical subject specialists, Specialists, Professors, and assistant professors. One thousand fifty-five faculty members serve the vast campus of Yerevan State Medical University via 750 clinical departments, three academicians, 158 Doctor of Sciences, 461 Ph.D. holders, 435 Assistant Professors, 229 Senior lab technicians, and 177 Research officers. The University offers more than 27 postgraduate medical disciplines to serve local and foreign medical students.
