Introduction of the college

Yerevan State Medical University is located in the center of Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia. It is considered one of the best medical institutions in Armenia, having graduated over 31,000 students. The State Medical University has around 8,000 students in six faculties. There are roughly 1184 international students. It is considered Armenia’s leading institution for MD studies (equivalent to MBBS in India). The 1:8 student-to-faculty ratio is methodically managed by five faculty departments comprised of exceptional Medical subject specialists, Specialists, Professors, and assistant professors. One thousand fifty-five faculty members serve the vast campus of Yerevan State Medical University via 750 clinical departments, three academicians, 158 Doctor of Sciences, 461 Ph.D. holders, 435 Assistant Professors, 229 Senior lab technicians, and 177 Research officers. The University offers more than 27 postgraduate medical disciplines to serve local and foreign medical students.
