Shahabuddin Medical College is one of the most prominent and renowned private medical colleges providing MBBS in Bangladesh. The college was established in the year 2003 and is situated in Gulshan which is considered as the most eminent, secured and heart of the Dhaka city. The college is recognized by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council.
The college is enlisted with WDOMS (World Directory of Medical Schools) and IMED (International Medical Education Directory).
A 500 bedded hospital is affiliated with the college. The degree awarded by Shahabuddin Medical College is MCI approved and graduates from this college are eligible to work in any country of the world but only after clearing the medical screening test of that country. The college has highly qualified and experienced faculty members who are prominent in their fields.

Accommodation
The college offers excellent hostel facilities to both the local and overseas students. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The rooms are allocated on sharing double or triple basis separately for boys and girls. The rooms are well equipped with all the facilities including beds, cupboards, chairs, etc. which are essential for a comfortable stay.
The kitchen is available on every floor of the hostel offering students the option of self-cooking. To ensure the safety and security of every student the entire campus is under CCTV surveillance and the hostel floors are under the supervision of wardens.
