About Bangladesh

Bangladesh is a South Asian country situated in the east of India on the Bay of Bengal. The country is known for its lush greenery and many waterways. The three largest rivers of Asia, the Ganges (locally known as the Padma), the Brahmaputra (locally known as the Jamuna) and the Meghna, flow through Bangladesh and form the fertile Bengal delta which is the largest delta in the world. Bangladesh MBBS ADMISSION Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must have passed qualifying examinations i.e. Higher Secondary Certificate(HSC)/ ‘A’ level ofequivalent examination.
  • Secondary School Certificate (SSC) / ‘O' level or equivalent examination passed not before 2017
  • HSC/ ‘A’ level orequivalent examination passed not before 2019.
  • Minimum aggregate GPA in SSC/ 'O' level or equivalent and HSC/ ‘A’ level or equivalent : 7.00 (Seven).
  • Minimum GPA eitherin SSC/O' level or equivalent and in HSC/'A’' level or equivalent : 3.00
  • Minimum GPA in biology: 3.50
  • For calculation of GPA against the marks obtained in SSC/'O' level or equivalent exam onlytop 5 subjects are considered. Therefore, GPA in ‘O’ level = (total marks obtained in topfive subjects)/5.
  • Optional subject shall be considered ifGPA is below5 (five).
  • For calculation of GPA against the marks obtained in HSC/A' level or equivalent exam,only 3 subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) are considered. Qualifying grade ineach subject individually is "C". Therefore, GPA in ‘A’ level = (total marks obtained inthree subjects)/3.

Required Documents And Processing Criteria

  • Application Form: Duly filled in application forms in quadruplicate along with the following documents
  • Photocopy of 4 (four) copies of academic certificates, admit cards and marksheet/transcript ofSSC/ ‘O' level or equivalent (passed not before 2017) and HSC/ ‘A’ level or equivalent (passed not before 2019). All the certificates must be duly attested by the competent authority, that is Education Board, the Ministry of External Aairs ofIndia and the Bangladesh Mission in India. 7 (seven) copies ofpassport size photographs.
  • 04 (Four) sets ofpassport’s photocopy
  • A non-refundable Telegraphic Transfer (T.T) US$70 (seventy) payable to “Director
  • MedicalEducation & HMPD, DGHS,
  • 3 (three) photocopies of the above mentioned T.T received copy (Deposit received memo)and the original copy
